Kimberly D. Jones died 9-30-2017 at home. She was born on 5-22-1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She continued to educationally challenge herself and attained 2 Ph.D’s, IT management and artificial intelligence. At one time, she was member of MENSA, but withdrew because she felt the members were boring. She enjoyed the complexities of quantum physics. She spent her entire life around medicine and loved it. In the past, she was a barrel racer, flew a single engine plane, and was an avid ball room dancer. Also, Kim enjoyed collecting dragon figurines, coke paraphernalia and had a great passion for horses. She drew them, painted them, and had large horse art collection around her throughout her life. She enjoyed making jewelry in her home workshop. She had a very diverse life and was able to combine the different aspects of her life to keep challenging herself. She believed in the Lord and has accepted his invitation to be by his side. She was a very, very special woman and will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her father, Dr. William Duncan and her mother, Mary Branham Duncan. She is survived by her husband, Michael D. Hinkle, her brothers Dr. Eric Duncan (Debbie) and Kurt Duncan (Amy), and her son Brett Jones (Tammy). She also had 2 step sons Jon Hinkle (Jocelyn) and Jeremy Hinkle (Jovanna). There were 4 grandchildren that she deeply cherished; Jaelle, Jolie, Jaxon and Jude. Services will be held at Indiana Funeral Care on 10-9-2017 at 11 am with visitation at 10 am. Flowers are welcomed or a donation to Indiana University Anatomical Education Program is an alternative.

I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends for your loss of your dear loved one. The death of a loved one brings pain and sorrow. It’s comforting to know that the true God Jehovah (Psalm 83 :18) provide us with comfort and the assurance of seeing our dear loved ones again. Acts 24 : 15 and Revelation 21 : 3,4 gives us Jesus promise ” There is going to be a resurrection”. I hope you find his words comforting . My Deepest Sympathy!
